You may become certified at any of the various levels of technical proficiency across the disciplines of network design, security and support. In this profession, you can work in the following areas:

  • Configuration techniques that increase available bandwidth, improve response times, and enhance reliability and quality of service.
  • Configuration techniques that maximize performance and improve network security.
  • Global intranet design and configuration.
